Club News:

Annual dues are due in January 2020 and I have attached a membership form that you can use to provide current contact information and pay your annual dues. It is very important that everyone pay their dues at the January meeting so the club will have the funds necessary to pay for the expenses of the annual banquet.

The annual banquet will be held at the Twin Oaks Ranch in Buda, Texas on Sunday, February 9, 2020, beginning at 6:00pm. The cost will be $20.00 per club member and includes your spouse. The menu will be BBQ from Pok-e-Jo’s (brisket and chicken) several sides, dessert, coffee and tea. There will also be fried catfish from Catfish Parlour. Steve Martinez has requested that any photos that you would like to share with other club members during the annual banquet slide show be sent to him at s.martinez951@yahoo.com.

Last item- Two Lake Rule: There was a motion at the December club meeting to amend the club’s constitution to eliminate the Two Lake Rule and add a provision stating the number of times the club fishes a lake each year cannot be limited. The current constitution states in IV.7 of the tournament guidelines that “A lake will not be fished more than twice a year, unless there are extenuating circumstances justifying not applying the “two lake” rule.” If the proposed change passes when the club votes on this matter, then this sentence in the constitution will be replaced with “The number of times the club fishes a lake each year cannot be limited.”

Couples Club:
