Summer is here and fishing can be tough. Check out the current standings and club news………….

Third place went to Harold Barnett and Bob Smith who caught 6 fish weighing 6.93 pounds. Mike Wiles had the heaviest stringer of fish. His two fish weighed 6.69 pounds.

July Meeting and Tournament:
Our July meeting will be next Thursday, July 16th, at 7:00pm. Our July tournament will be Saturday, July 18th, 2009. John Bobo and Vince Martin have volunteered to bring refreshments to the next meeting.
Fishing Reports:
I really don’t have much to report. Al Lykins and T.V. Minner fished Lake Bastrop for about 4 hours on July 7th and only caught 2 fish. Gary Burnham and I fished Lake Bastrop the morning of July 4th and Gary caught one fish. Several members have recently fished Lake LBJ during the late afternoon and into the night with some success but the bite was slow. I hope to see you at the meeting this Thursday.
