October Meeting and Tournament:

Our October meeting will be on Thursday, October 18th, at 7:00pm.  The October tournament will be Saturday, 10/20/2012.  There will not be refreshments at the meeting.

Club News:

The annual garage sale was a success and was well supported by club members, including one member’s wife.  Brian Kitchen wants everyone who donated items and/or helped on the day of the garage sale to know that he appreciates your efforts and he thanks all of you for helping.

At the October meeting, members are encouraged to bring fishing tackle (rods, reels, baits, or anything else) and we will have an opportunity to swap/sell/bargain with other members who think they can’t live without your wonderful gently used fishing tackle.

Couples Club News:  No results to report.

Fishing Report:

I know the cooler weather and recent rains are cooling off the water temperatures in area lakes and the fishing is improving.  Lake Travis has been producing some fish and I had a pretty good day of fishing on Lake LBJ last Saturday.  I hope to see you at the upcoming meeting.
