Tournament Results:

Our November tournament at Fayette County Reservoir produced fewer fish than it usually does in November. Twenty members participated and only 65 fish were weighed in.  Don Haluzan and Tom Clark won the tournament with 9 fish weighing 27.10 pounds.  Craig Mooney and Bob Smith took second place with 7 fish weighing 24.22 pounds.  Darryl Smith and Dave Ehrenfeld came in third with 10 fish weighing 24.19 pounds.  Tom Clark caught the biggest bass (5.75 pounds) and he also had the biggest stringer weighing 18.08 pounds.

Jim Pollard- 109.24 pounds                                          Steve Martinez- 71.07 pounds

Mike Wiles- 99.51 pounds                                            Vince Martin- 70.11 pounds

Brooks Griffith- 89.97 pounds                                     Gib Hoffman- 69.78 pounds

Darryl Smith- 89.46 pounds                                          Carlton Yarbrough- 65.14 pounds

Don Haluzan- 83.30 pounds                                         Tom Clark- 63.75 pounds

December Tournament:

Our last meeting of the year will be on Thursday, November 29th, at 7:00pm.  The December tournament will be Saturday, 12/1/2012. 

Club News:

At the upcoming meeting we will vote for officers/directors for 2013.  The proposed slate of officers is Mitch Shelton, President, Brian Kitchen, Vice-President, Carlton Yarbrough, Treasurer, and Darryl Smith, Secretary.  The slate of directors includes Jim Rumbo, Tom White, Brooks Griffith, Ron Roberts, and Bob Smith.  In addition, we will also conduct a secret ballot to identify the club member who is most deserving of the Johnny Mayes Sportsmanship Award.

Fishing Report:

Bring your fishing reports to the meeting to share with everyone present.  I’m hoping this beautiful weather continues into the weekend.  I’ll see you Thursday at the meeting.
