Club News:
At the January meeting the club decided to continue our affiliation with TABC (Texas Association of Bass Clubs) for 2014 and that we would also participate in a Top 6 tournament held by the Texas Assn. of Christian Bass Clubs. It is anticipated that Lake Palestine will be the location of the May tournament held by the Texas Assn. of Christian Bass Clubs (TACBC). The club voted to have our travel tournament in May at the lake where TACBC has their Top 6 tournament.
Brooks Griffith will be the club tournament director for 2014. Important dates to remember are: April 26th– Amputee Fishing Day on Lake Bastrop, May 3rd– C.A.S.T. for Kids on Lake Bastrop, and Round Rock Children’s Home- will be scheduled in the Fall.
Fishing Report:
Available reports on the internet indicate fishing has been slow on most of our favorite lakes. Bring your fishing report to the upcoming meeting and don’t forget about the new location. See you at Pok-e-Jo’s.
