Club News:

No important news to share.  Don’t let the summer heat keep you off the water.  The tournament involving ACBC and Shenandoah Christian Bass Club was a big hit.  The early morning bite was great and Mike Wiles and Tom White found a bunch of hungry bass.  They won the tournament with almost 25 pounds of fish that were caught on black/blue chatter baits and little black back/silver sided poppers.  Everyone appreciated the efforts of Gib Hoffman who brought the burgers, hotdogs, beans, and condiments for an outdoor feast under the shade trees of Decker Lake.  Everyone present agreed we should do this more often.

Fishing Reports:

Bring your reports to the meeting and be prepared to get up early on tournament day so we can beat the heat.  I’ll see you this Thursday evening.
