Tournament Results:
Our November tournament was held on Fayette County Lake and the weather forecast was fairly accurate. It rained at least one half inch just before daylight and then the wind blew the rest of the day. In spite of the bad weather, twelve out of twenty members caught a limit of fish. Mike Wiles and Gene Franz won the tournament with 10 fish weighing 23.21 pounds. Art Cruser and Dave Ehrenfeld came in second place with 7 fish weighing 22.51 pounds. Dennis Worley and Gary Burnham took third place with 10 fish weighing 20.66 pounds. Art Cruser caught the biggest bass of the tournament (22.5”) and had the biggest 5 fish stringer weighing 19.44 pounds.

December 2015 Meeting and Tournament:
Our December meeting will be on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 7:00pm at Pok-e-Jo’s Smokehouse on Parmer Lane. Our December tournament will be on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Come early and enjoy some great BBQ and fellowship.
Club News:
Only one tournament remaining this year, so don’t miss an opportunity to go fishing. We will be electing next year’s officers/directors at the upcoming meeting. The proposed slate of officers for 2016 is Mike Wiles, President, Brian Kitchen, Vice-president, Carlton Yarbrough, Treasurer, and Darryl Smith, Secretary. The proposed directors are Brooks Griffith, Bob Smith, Steve Martinez, Jim Pollard, Gary Burnham, John Bobo (Couple Club), and Steve Moore (Retiree Club).
Don’t forget to put January 23, 2016 on your calendar because that is the date of our annual banquet that will be at Twin Oaks Ranch in Buda, Tx.
