Tournament Results:

Our December 5th tournament was held on Decker Lake and the weather was nice, although it was windy. Only six of the eighteen fishermen caught a limit of fish.  Mike Wiles and Dale White won the tournament with 10 fish weighing 23.72 pounds.  Craig Mooney and Steve Moore came in second place with 10 fish weighing 20.53 pounds.  Gary Burnham and Steve Martinez took third place with 6 fish weighing 15.08 pounds.  Gary Burnham caught the biggest bass of the tournament (20.5”) and had the biggest 5 fish stringer weighing 13.77 pounds.

Art Cruser won Biggest Bass of the 4th Quarter for the 22.5” (6.06#) bass he caught during the November tournament at Fayette County Reservoir.

January 2016 Meeting and Tournament:

Our January meeting will be on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 7:00pm at Pok-e-Jo’s Smokehouse on Parmer Lane. Our January tournament will be on Saturday, January 16, 2016.  Come early and enjoy some great BBQ and fellowship.

Club News:

Club dues and other fees are due. Page 2 of this newsletter can be used to pay your dues and other fees at the upcoming meeting.  If you support continuing to be affiliated with Texas Association of Bass Clubs (TABC), then don’t forget to pay your $24.00 annual dues.

Our annual banquet is planned for January 23, 2016, at 5:00pm at Twin Oaks Ranch in Buda, Tx. Specific directions will be sent out next week via email.  The cost of the banquet is $15.00 per member, which includes your spouse.  Pok-e-Jo’s BBQ , sides, and peach cobbler will be served at 6:00pm.

Fishing Report:

Bring any fishing reports to the meeting and hopefully the weather will be great next Saturday. See you there.
